Terms and Conditions
Last updated October 2026
1. Who we are. The Course Club is a trading name of Base Online Training Limited, registered in England and Wales (company no. 17551682), registered office [address]. Contact: [email protected].
2. The courses. Our courses, including our masterclasses, are online training delivered as digital content. When you pay, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to access your course for 12 months.
3. Your account. Keep your login details private. Don't share your account or course materials with anyone else.
4. Assessment and certificates. A certificate is issued only when you pass the course's final assessment or quiz. A certificate shows that you completed the course. It isn't a qualification, a licence to practise or evidence of competence to carry out treatments, and masterclass certificates aren't CPD accredited. We may withdraw a certificate if we find the assessment wasn't completed by you.
5. Educational use only. All our courses are for general education and staff training. They don't replace accredited practical training, your device manufacturer's instructions for use, your clinic's protocols and Local Rules, the advice of your Laser Protection Adviser, your insurer's or local authority's requirements, or advice from a doctor, solicitor or other qualified professional. A Core of Knowledge certificate doesn't qualify you to carry out treatments on its own.
6. Check before you apply anything. Course content reflects published evidence, guidance and law as we understood them at the time of recording. These change over time and differ between countries. Before you apply anything from a course in your practice, you must check it against current guidance, your own training, your device's instructions, your insurer's terms and the rules where you work. If a course and any of these disagree, follow them, not the course.
7. Not personal advice. Nothing in our courses is personal medical, legal, insurance, financial or HR advice. Examples are general and may not suit a particular client, clinic or situation. You remain responsible for your own clinical and business decisions.
8. Prices and payment. Prices are shown in pounds sterling at checkout and paid in full when you enrol.
9. Starting your course, cancellations and refunds. When you buy, you ask us to give you access straight away. You can cancel within 14 days of buying for a full refund as long as you haven't started the course. You agree that once you open the first lesson, you lose your right to cancel, as allowed by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for digital content. See our Refund Policy.
10. Intellectual property. All course content belongs to Base Online Training Limited. You may not copy, record, share or resell it.
11. Changes to courses. We may update course content to keep it accurate and current.
12. Liability. We take reasonable care to keep our courses accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee they're complete, current or error-free. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for decisions you make or treatments you carry out using information from a course, or for any loss that results. Our total liability to you for anything relating to a course is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that can't be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
13. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
