About the course

Running a laser clinic is a different job from treating clients. This course covers what a laser clinic manager is responsible for, in 29 short video lessons with captions (about 70 minutes), 6 practical workbooks you complete for your own clinic, a quiz after each module and a final assessment with an 80% pass mark and unlimited resits. It takes about 3 hours in total, online and at your own pace.You'll learn the rules for laser clinics in each UK nation and what's changing in licensing, how laser safety is organised through the LPA, LPS, EMP and authorised users, Local Rules, protocols and registers, how to recruit, train, sign off and lead a team, how to manage staff fairly and lawfully, how to keep clients safe through consultation, consent, records, complaints and adverse reactions, and how to run the clinic with KPIs, advertising rules, consumer law and client data.It's for senior laser technicians stepping up to manage a clinic, new laser clinic managers who want a clear framework, and clinic owners training a team member into a manager role. We recommend completing Core of Knowledge first, as this course covers managing a clinic, not how to operate a laser.CPD accreditation is in progress, and we hope to have the result by the end of November 2026. Certificates issued before accreditation is confirmed are certificates of completion and won't show CPD hours. This course isn't a regulated qualification and doesn't qualify you as a Laser Protection Supervisor.
