About this masterclass

This masterclass is only for people who have already completed a Laser Protection Supervisor (LPS) or Laser Safety Officer (LSO) course, such as a Level 5 LPS qualification. It builds on that training with practical, day-to-day guidance on running the role well: keeping Local Rules followed, maintaining the registers, authorising and supervising users device by device, working with your LPA and EMP, and building a team where people speak up. It is not an LPS qualification and does not qualify anyone to act as a Laser Protection Supervisor. Your own Local Rules and your LPA's advice always come first.
